Description
This volume contains the technical papers presented at the plenary session of the Meeting of Experts on Aerosols and Their Climatic Effects, held in Williamsburg, Virginia, 28-30 March, 1983. The purpose of the meeting was to bring together experts from two major areas of research, namely, aerosols and climate, to provide a current consensus of the importance of aerosol effects on climate, to assess the state of knowledge of aerosol data need for climate studies, and to make recommendations for developing a coordinated action plan for future research in the various aspects of aerosols climate interactions.
